Owner John Erdolian and Karoun Restaurant hosted the 2012 Newton Jazz & Wine Festivals feature event with a night of wine, food & jazz, featuring award-winning vocalist Patrice Williamson.  Karoun features a fantastic menu including sizzling kebabs, delectable appetizers and scrumptious desserts prepared according to family recipes. Incorporating traditional Middle-Eastern and Armenian dishes while also exploring Mediterranean and other Eastern cuisines, Karoun also has an awesome wine collection and full bar service.

The Jackson Homestead

Host for the 2010 Newton Jazz Festival,  the Jackson Homestead and Museum presents permanent and changing exhibits on a variety of historic topics. Discover what life was like for New England's earliest settlers, learn about the abolition movement in Newton and how the Jackson family used their home as a stop on the Underground Railroad. The museum houses the Newton Historical Society and holds an extensive library and research collection.
